Slicer-true costing and margin-safe pricing for 3D printed goods.
Tensor turns a design file into a true Design CP, flags what will cost you before it ships, and prices it off the approved ladder — so margin is decided, not discovered.

Tensor. So margin is decided, not discovered.
The engine costs a design from its slicer metrics and prices it off an approved ladder. Pure unit economics — the same answer every time, for every reviewer.
Start costing a designPipeline
A Designer submits an STL, 3MF or STEP with its material, colours and finish. Nothing about the cost is estimated here — it is measured downstream.
The slicer returns print time, filament, purge and support. Those become the true Design CP, with a failure provision carried on top.
A Green / Yellow / Red report with concrete improvements. This design is Yellow: the economics clear, but 2.50h of machine time overruns the 2h target for its rung.
Reverse unit economics work back from the margin the brand needs, then snap up to the nearest approved rung. A 40% ad-spend stress test says whether it still survives.
The Project Lead takes the call and the SKU goes to Shopify. Nothing ships on a price that did not come off the ladder.

Capabilities
Everything the costing call needs. Nothing it doesn’t.
The engine is pure: the same inputs give the same answer to a Designer, a Project Lead and an auditor six months from now. That is the whole point of taking the maths out of the conversation.
- Slicer-true metrics
- Print time, filament, purge and support come from the slicer itself. Nothing in the Design CP is an estimate.
- Batch-aware machine time
- Effective machine time is per unit, after batching units onto one bed — so a full plate is not costed like a single print.
- Approved ladders
- Prices snap up to a rung the team already signed off, per brand. Nobody invents a number at the point of sale.
- Stress-tested margin
- Every price is re-run at 40% ad spend before approval, so a rung that only works organically is caught early.
